Arsenal and Chelsea are currently vying for the signature of Chelsea’s midfielder Eden Hazard’s brother, Thorgan Hazard.
Hazard was on the books of Chelsea from 2012 after he joined the club with his elder brother that summer. He, however, failed to break through at Stamford Bridge and had to be sent on loan away from the Blues on numerous occasion.
He Joined Gladbach permanently in the summer of 2015 after spending the previous season on loan at the German side.
Reports from France is now linking the midfielder with a shock move back to the Premier League to Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal and Merseyside team, Everton.
Everton is set to lose two of their key attacking players this summer, as Romelo Lukaku and Ross Barkley look set to take a step up and join a top Premier League team. The Toffees Manager, Ronald Koeman has identified Hazard and Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho as capable replacements for the duo.
Hazard joining Everton would be a good addition to the ambitious Merseysiders, but joining Arsenal would surely be met with a backlash from some of the Gunner’s fans who consider him an Inferior Hazard.
The player is currently valued at £12 million, a sum that would not be too much for Everton or Arsenal to pay.
