Everton is confident they can bring back one of the best attackers to have come out of England this summer.
The Toffees have been very busy in the transfer market, with deals for Jordan Pickford, Davvy Klassen, and Henry Onyekuru having cost them more than £50 million and more are expected in the coming weeks.
Everton is looking to challenge for the top four next season and wants to add Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney to their team.
Rooney was born in Merseyside and always said Everton are the only other Premier League team he would play for if he left the Red Devils, with just a year left on his current deal, and his role at Old Trafford reduced, Everton, are confident they can sign him this summer.
Jose Mourinho rarely trusted Rooney last season, and that is set to continue as the Portuguese manager looks set to sign another striker.
Everton Boos Ronald Koeman has been very active in the transfer window and wants to sign the players that would help him take Everton into the Champions League within the next three years. The Toffees are also expected to sign Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdson.
