Everton join Man Utd and Liverpool in monitoring classy Brazilian midfielder
Reports coming in from Turkey indicates that Everton have joined the race to sign Benefica’s Brazilian midfielder, Anderson Talisca.
Talisca, who is on loan to Turksih side Besiktas, almost signed for Liverpool last season, but Jurgen Klopp was unable to get a work permit for him. The Brazilian was also recently linked to Manchester United with reports claiming that he has been scouted by the Red Devils all season.
Everton have joined the race for his signature as they hope to add more flair to their attacking midfield. The Blues suffered a 3-1 loss to Liverpool last weekend a performance that showed that they urgently need reinforcement in their attacking midfield.
According to the source the 23 year old, is still not eligible to get a work permit unless he gets a cap with the Brazilian national team or if he is granted a waiver by the FA. Everton are hopeful that he will play for his country very soon. He was invited for Brazil’s games against Turkey and Austria, but did not feature. He has been in top form for Besiktas this season, scoring ten goals and assisting a further five.
