Everton has shown this summer that they can genuinely be considered a top club ahead of the new season. The Toffees have already spent close to £100 million in strengthening their team this summer, but that number is set to go up.
Sun Sport is claiming they have joined the race for Borussia Dortmund’s teenage attacker, Emre Mor after the player indicated that he wants out of the Bundesliga club.
Mor joined Dortmund last summer after snubbing a move to the Premier League with Liverpool interested. Fast forward to 12 months later, his sojourn at Dortmund has not panned out the way he expected, and he is looking for a new team.
Mor started less than 20 games for the German side last season, and that does not look like changing as Dortmund did not sell any of his competitors this summer.
Italian side Fiorentina is said to be leading the race for his signature after tabling a bid of £10 million, but Dortmund is holding out for £12 million for his signature.
Koeman is monitoring the player’s situation and will ask the club to move for him when he gets the signal that he would be willing to play in the Premier League.
