Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira has signed a new long-term deal at the club to end the uncertainty over his future.
The 19-year-old was understood to be considering his options after only managing to play 13 minutes of Premier League football this season, with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus eager to sign him.
However, the Brazil U20 international has signed a new deal which keeps him at United until June 2018.
‘I am pleased to have signed my new contract. I would like to thank the manager for giving me the opportunity to join the first-team squad,’ Pereira told United’s official website.
‘I am at the right club to continue my development as a player and to learn as much as I can. I want to thank my family and God for the opportunity he has given me.’
