Man City Defender Pablo Zabaleta, is reported to be wanted by Juventus, according to the latest media gossip.
Zabaleta is in the last year of his contract at City and the gossip has now started in earnest as to where his next club will be and Italian giants Juventus appear to be the early front runners.
Zabaleta’s contract expires next summer and there is no doubt that Juventus are well aware of this. The Old Lady are looking to land the defender, at the first opportunity, though top European clubs are also interested and could easily put in a counter offer.
This rumour does, if true, make sense for Juventus, Zabaleta fits their style of play, he brings immense experience and would surely look forward to playing in Serie A.
Zabaleta moved to Man City from Espanyol back in August 2008, he has since become an integral part of City’s first team and is contracted to the club until June 2017.
The 24 year old has made 213 first team appearances for Man City and has made 56 international appearances for Argentina.
