There has been some rumours emerge which have claimed Italian side Fiorentina have targeted Chelsea striker Fernando Torres as the ideal man to replace the departing Stevan Jovetic.
The Spanish striker who initially showed no interest in the proposal made, might have changed his mind.
The striker’s preference would be to return to Spain, but knows it will be very difficult for a Spanish club to snap him up.
The cost of any deal could be around £15 million, an amount well below the £50 million that Chelsea paid for him at the time.
But that would be accepted by the London club to certify his sale. (Fichajes.net, in Spanish)
Torres has never fulfilled what Roman Abramovic expected of him and he has seemingly lost patients with the out-of-sorts Spanish striker. So although they would lose more than £35 million, they would happily accept the amount of £15 million.
