Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack, has offered advice to Belgian superstar Eden Hazard after the midfielder became linked with a move to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have made the signing of Hazard their priority for next season, and the 26 year old seems to have had his head turned by their interest.

But Ballack believes Hazard would struggle to cope with life in Spain as well as the demands of playing for a club with so many superstars.

According to Ballack, Hazard’s poor performance last season highlights that the player is an emotional player who performs well when he is around those he cares about.

He also said that Hazard’s introverted nature means he would need more time than he would be afforded at Real Madrid too settle and get to his very best.

Ballack, who was a Premier League winner with Chelsea, admitted that the amount of money involved in the deal may impact the player’s choice, but hopes the player stays at Chelsea because he has a greater chance of succeeding there.
