Four Chinese clubs looking at a mega money summer raid on Chelsea
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is a wanted man. The Spaniard has been subject to interest from the Chinese Super League since last summer. He was offered a triple your money deal by Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian, during the last Chinese transfer window, but Chelsea were unwilling to deal with the club over the player at the time.
Costa’s form has declined this year, only 3 of his 17 goals this season has been scored this calendar year. His loss of form has led to Chelsea dropping valuable points as they try to win the Premier League crown.
Tianjin Quanjian are not the only team interested in the Brazilian born player, reports from China claims that, Guangzhou Evergrande, Hebei China Fortune and Jiangsu Suning are all waiting for the Chinese transfer window to open on June 19 to try and sign the player from Chelsea.
Costa has admitted that he wanted to re-join Atletico Madrid last summer, and many believe if he wins the Premier League this season, he would ask to be moved on.
It is believed Chelsea would have made a £50 Million gain on Costa if they had sold him to the Chinese Super League last summer. It is unclear if the clubs would still offer this same amount for Costa on his current form.
