Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has hinted that unsettled midfielder and long-term Liverpool target Thiago Motta could be on his way out of the club.
The Italy international wants out of PSG after three and a half years at the French capital club and he has been linked with a number of clubs.
Motta himself has admitted that his “cycle is coming to an end” at the Ligue 1 club and his manager Blanc took the decision to leave him out of PSG’s friendly match against Benfica in Canada.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, Blanc said: “We know both the position of the player and that of the club, as both have spoken clearly, and they are incompatible.
“Motta is not going to play. He is not with us mentally.”
