French giants plotting a double raid on Arsenal this summer

Ambitious French team Olympic Marseille are targeting a move for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud and Laurent koscielny. The French team have a new owner who is ready to spend just enough to challenge PSG and Monaco for the French title next season.

They want 30 year old Giroud to lead their attack. The hit man currently has three years left on his Arsenal deal, and even more frustrating for Marseille is that he is currently very unwilling to move away from London.

Marseille also have Arsenal’s defence strong man, Laurent koscielny on their radar. They believe he has the qualities to lead their defence.

However, the Gunners may not listen to offers for the defender, they consider him one of the most reliable members of their team at the moment.

Arsenal are planning a major overhaul of their playing squad, but it seems that the French duo will be part of the new team. They are already at risk of losing some of their major players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, they want to do their best to keep the rest.
