After sealing the world record signing of Neymar from Barcelona, it appears as though PSG are not stopping just yet.
The former French champions have reportedly joined the race to sign Nice Midfielder, Jean Michel Seri. The Ivorian was a standout performer for Nice last season as they sealed a place in the Champions League ahead of Olympique Lyon, and he looks set to move with many teams keen on signing him.
Seri has said he would only leave Nice if he was guaranteed more playing time in his next team. PSG are reportedly set to make a clear out of their current midfield options, with Blaise Matuidi and Grzegorz Krychowiak set to be axed to make room for the midfielder.
Arsene Wenger wants Seri despite signing Granit Xhaka just last summer. He has not been impressed by the Swiss midfielder’s knack for picking up red cards, and the duo of Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey have not impressed Wenger over the past few seasons.
Nice have said they would only allow him to leave if his release clause of £36 million is paid up in full.
