Arsenal hold the advantage over Tottenham in the race to sign Chelsea shot-stopper Petr Cech this summer, according to the Blues’ goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon.
The experienced Czech Republic international is expected to leave Stamford Bridge during the close season, with the ‘keeper wanting to stay in London due to personal reasons.
“The advantage is that Arsenal is a top club, with a philosophy that pleases him, plus they are in London,” Lollichon told RMC.
“I don’t think Tottenham have the same ambitions as Arsenal. Also, Petr wants to break a record for the clean sheets in the Premier League.”
