Former Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has admitted that he is not surprised at the interest shown by Manchester United in striker Alexander Lacazette.
The French striker is now rated as one of the best strikers in the game after a stunning season with the Ligue 1 side.
And Houllier knows all about the striker, having worked for Lyon, and isn’t surprised by rumours linking him with the Reds Devils.
“He’s top in Ligue 1, but not at international level,” said Houllier on the L’Equipe website.
“But he knows this.
“Eventually he may become a world class player.”
