Former Borrrusia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is certainly a very much sought after manager indeed, with many suitors around Europe’s big leagues looking to have him take over their squads and after winning back to back league titles along with domestic silverware and a Champions League Final to add to his growing list of credentials as a top class manager.
The German is now without a club after resigning from Borrusia Dortmund last season and all eyes are now fixed on where he will ply his trade next, with a few Premier League clubs heavily linked to Jurgen Klopp and with a few managers under pressure from fans as well as owners to deliver the goods , the Daily Star report that the odds are heavily in Liverpool’s favour as his next suitors.
Bookmakers Betway have put him at 9/4 to replace Rodgers.
Klopp is 6/1 to join second-favourites Marseille after Marcelo Bielsa walked out on the French side just days in to the new season.
He’s 7/1 to replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City despite the Chile boss signing a new two-year deal over the summer.
Arsenal are 8/1 and Dortmund’s bitter rivals Bayern come in at nines
I cannot help but feel though that a man of Klopp’s caliber should be at a club with the personnel such as Arsenal, I believe he would fit their character and their style of play in my own opinion, would he do well for Liverpool – well of course he would if he can get the squad in that he wants ad feels could take Liverpool back to their heydays of the 70’s and 80’s once more as a dominant force in British football.
