German confirms Liverpool clear to sign up one of games best

Liverpool managerial target Jurgen Klopp could be working in the Premier League next season, according to Michael Ballack.

The 47-year-old will call time on a hugely successful stint at Borussia Dortmund this summer, and has been linked with a move to Anfield amid speculation over Brendan Rodgers’ future.

Now Klopp’s compatriot Michael Ballack believes England could be a future destination.

‘There’s speculation about it in England and it would make sense also for him to go to England,’ he told German outlet Sport1.

‘He coached one of the best clubs in Germany, he’s an open coach who enjoys international acclaim for his successes and the way he coaches.

‘And he speaks English.’
