Schalke have confirmed a deal for Real Madrid star and Manchester United target Sami Khedira.
Schalke, who had been thought to be leading the charge for the German international’s signature have admitted they’ll struggle to sign him.
However, they have opened the door for the Gunners to make a move.
Roberto Di Matteo told German TV station Sport 1: “What coach would not want Khedira in their team? The door here is always open for him.
“But he will be spoiled for choice and I think it will be very difficult to bring Khedira here.”
