The pressure on Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is starting to increase with football pundits joining a large section of the Reds fan base calling for the German to be given the boot.
Liverpool was thrashed 4-1 by Tottenham on Sunday and that beating is the final straw for former Man Utd and Tottenham striker Garth Crooks.
Crooks reckons the perfect man for the job would be former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian has proven pedigree winning titles with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Roma, as well as winning the Champions League with Real Madrid and Milan.
According to Crooks Liverpool need to employ someone like Ancelotti if they seriously want to win the Premier League and that Klopp is clearly not the man that can achieve that.
When Klopp joined the Reds hopes were high that he would bring league glory back to Anfield but the truth is that the club has not really progressed under his tutelage, he appears to have no plan B or any idea how to sort the defensive problems out that was evident before the season even started, especially in the goalkeeping department.
Unless there is a dramatic turnaround it is hard to argue with the assessment of the likes of Crooks.
