Arsene Wenger has revealed his plans to splash out on new players to bolster his Arsenal side this summer.
The Frenchman has overseen the big-money signings of Mesut Ozil (42.4million) and Alexis Sanchez (£35million) over the past two years from Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, and that now looks set to continue this summer.
Wenger has admitted he is planning on dipping into the transfer market this summer to recruit established stars.
Wenger told Sky Sports: ‘We have a big squad – the basis is there. We do not need to buy a number of players.
‘If we can get top, world-class players we will look at it, but we have a very strong squad already in number and we want to stay together and start well next season.’
