An exciting young striker who set the Belgian league on fire for his team last season has confirmed that Arsenal has made an offer for his services this summer.
Henry Oyekuru who plays mainly as a winger for Belgian side KAS Eupen scored 20 goals for his team last season after leading the club to the Belgian top flight the previous season.
His performances have drawn the attention of several European sides, and he is set for a move abroad after rejecting the advances of two Belgian giants, Club Brugge and Anderlecht.
Reports early last week claimed that the Gunners had wrapped up a deal for the attacker, but they quickly refuted such claims as mere rumours, but it appears that report could be true.
Speaking ahead of his appearance for his country’s national team, Oyekuru confirmed that the Gunners had made and offer for him, and he was looking forward to turning out for them in the nearest future. According to him, Gunner’s legend Thierry Henry is his footballing idol and he still watches video clips of the former France international on YouTube.
