One of Chelsea’s summer transfer target, Domenico Berardi is a subject of interest from Inter Milan. According to reports, talks between Inter Milan and the player have entered advance stage.
Berardi has had an injury ravaged season so far and he has played only 14 times for Sassuolo, but his last season’s form has kept the interest in him very high.
At the age of 22, Berardi still has room for development and Antonio Conte believes he can help the striker develop his immense potential.
Sassoulo value the striker at £35 Million but Inter Milan believe they can drive the price down because of the players limited involvement this season.
Antonio Conte may allow Michy Batshuayi leave this summer, and needs a striker that would cover for Diego Costa, he sees Berardi as the ideal player. Because of his age, Berardi may not be too anxious for a place in the starting eleven and would be given enough time to get back to form.
Berardi has scored 52 goals in 141 matches since making his debut for Sassuolo in 2012.
