Inter preparing to bid £60 Million for Chelsea and Arsenal target
Reports from France are claiming that Inter Milan are ready to make the first official bid for Chelsea and Arsenal target, Kylian Mbappe. The youngster has been in impressive form this season, and his brace against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday took his goal tally to 21 goals in 20 games in all competitions.
Arsenal have been watching Mbappe who has been dubbed the “new Thierry Henry” with a summer move in mind. Arsene Wenger is set to overhaul his squad which may see the sale of most of the current group of attackers to make room for new ones.
Olivier Giroud is a subject of interest from France and the Gunners would not stand in his way if he wants to move, Alexis Sanchez future is a major doubt and the Gunners would auction him if he fails to agree terms on a new deal this summer. These departures would leave room for a new attacker and Wenger wants Mbappe to come in and make the spot his own.
Chelsea are still not sure if Diego Costa would stay beyond this season, and are planning to replace him with Mbappe.
Monaco have said it would take a record bid to sign Mbappe from them, it would be interesting to see if they would accept Inter’s bid.
