Manchester United have been handed a boost in their bid to seal the transfer of Inter Milan stopper Samir Handanovic, according to the Metro.
The Red Devils are fans of the Slovenian keeper and want to complete a deal for him should David de Gea leave the club and head back to Spain to sign for Real Madrid.
And they have been handed a boost in their pursuit, after Inter boss Roberto Mancini dodged the question of Handanovic’s future leading to speculation that his future my lie elsewhere.
‘I do not know the situation of Samir. I just know today that he made a great save 1-0 for opponents,’ Mancini said.
‘He wants to play in the Champions? I can understand that… we’ll see.’
