As his contract situation continues to rumble on, Inter Milan has joined the race for the signature of Alexis Sanchez.
The Italians have enough cash backed by new Chinese owners and have been relatively quiet while city rivals Milan have been very busy in the transfer market so far.
Mirror Sports is reporting the Inter Milan don’t want to make several signings like AC Milan, but they want to make just a few major signing, with Sanchez a target.
Inter’s new owner wants to sign Sanchez as the new poster boy signalling the beginning of a new era.
Alexis Sanchez has experience playing in the Italian Serie A, after beginning his European journey at Udinese where he played for three seasons before moving to Barcelona.
Sanchez scored 30 goals in all competition for the Gunners last season but has just one year left on his current deal. He has told the Gunners he would only sign a new deal if they agree to pay him £400,000 per week. But the Gunners are very reluctant to offer that amount.
Manchester City is interested in signing Sanchez, but the Gunners would not sell to a direct rival, and with Bayern Munich pulling out of the deal, the Italians may succeed in taking him away from the Emirates.
