Italian giants join Chelsea and Man Utd in the race to sign top teenager

Manchester United and Chelsea have been joined by Juventus in the pursuit of Turkish teenager Cengiz Under. The 19-year-old had a stellar breakthrough campaign with second placed Turkish team, Basaksehir as they almost won the Super Liga.

His performances have seen him compared with Juventus’ Paolo Dybala.

He was heavily scouted by Manchester United and Chelsea during the season with the duo of English teams preparing a bid for his signature.

However, Talksport is claiming that Juventus have joined the race for his signature. Apparently, the Old Lady of Turin has also been scouting him heavily during the season.

Basaksehir will not stand in the way of Under if he decides to leave, but they have made it clear to him that it would be beneficial if he stayed with them for at least one more season.

Chelsea has been restocking their academy ranks, and believe that Under would flourish under the system of loaning out their youth players for them to get more regular first team football.
