Liverpool is at risk of losing one of their star men ahead of the new season, as Juventus edges closer to signing him.
The Reds midfielder Emre Can has been attracting the interest of the Italian giants for some time now, and the Italians look set to make an official bid for him as his contract situation at Anfield continues to drag on.
Emre Can has just one year left in his current Anfield deal, and is yet to sign a contract extension after protracted negotiations this season. The Reds have however reportedly offered him a new deal worth £100,000 per week which they expect him to sign when he resumes for the new season.
Juventus are however not discouraged by the latest development at Anfield and believe the lure of playing for one of the best teams in Europe as well as the prospect of dominating the local league would convince Can to join them. They see him as the perfect replacement for Miralem Pjanic as the Bosnian edges closer to a move to Barcelona.
Can who scored one of the best goals in the Premier League this season is happy at Anfield but is keeping his options open for now.
