Inter Milan are weighing up a possible January move for one of Chelsea’s most exciting youngsters, according to the latest transfer gossip.
The player that Inter is checking out is Andreas Christensen, they are scouting the Denmark international extensively and he was watched by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio in Tuesday nights Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
Inter will have their work cut out though, the 21-year-old is a regular first team player, he has a contract until 2020 and is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge, any deal would cost the Italians tens of millions.
Christensen is one of the few players that has gone through the Chelsea system of being bought young and loaned out before breaking through into the first team and his progress has vindicated the policy that Chelsea operate with their targetting of young talent.
He was a huge success in the Bundesliga with Borrusia Monchengladbach and has improved even further since his return to Stamford Bridge.
It will be interesting to see how much Inter are prepared to pay for the young Dane.
