Italian outfit turns down mega bid from Chelsea for hit man
Sensational reports coming from Italy states that Chelsea have had a bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti turned down by the Italian club.
Per the source, Chelsea are willing to meet his £85 Million release clause, but offered £51 Million cash with the rest being paid based on the Player’s performance.
However Torino turned them down, insisting that the only time they would discuss the player with any club is if the club met his £85 Million release clause.
Chelsea are desperate to sign the Italian Hotshot and on this evidence, they have shown that they want to steal a march on their rivals for the player’s signature.
Belotti is said to be very happy in Turin and has no plans to leave the club at least for now.
Chelsea are not the only club interested in Belotti, Premier League rivals Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city expect to sell at least one of their top attackers this season, and they want Belotti to fill the void that the departures would create.
Chelsea are not giving up on the player, and are said to be preparing a second offer that will better the first.
