Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been offered a chance to revive his career away from the Emirates Stadium with Sampdoria.
The Italians have reportedly tabled a £9 million bid for the midfielder who has been very unfortunate with injuries and has just a year left on his current Arsenal deal.
Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and just when he started to get back some of his match fitness, he suffered another injury when he was tackled by Harry Kane at White Hart Lane.
His Arsenal career remains a major doubt as the Gunners are currently trying to rebuild their squad after failing to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in a long while.
Wilshere has a young family as he got married early this summer, and a move to Italy may not be appealing to him at this time.
He did not travel with Gunners for pre-season as he continues to recuperate from his injury. Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe remains a fan and could launch a bid for his signature if he receives encouragement.
