Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho appears to have given up on Mouruane Fellaini.
The Belgian midfielder got himself sent off yet again in the Manchester derby, and it appears that Mourinho was unimpressed by that.
Reports from France is claiming Mourinho is ready to get rid of him and spend £80 million on the midfield duo of PSG’s Blaise Matuidi and AS Monaco’s Bernado Silva.
The duo have been impressing for their clubs this season, and Mourinho wants to add them to his collection of stars.
£30 million rated Matuidi has been on the radar of several top European sides this season. He almost joined Juventus last summer, but a proposed £30 million deal fell through. Juve are still interested, but it appears that the player would prefer to join compatriot Paul Pogba in England.
Monaco’s Bernado Silva has been one of their best players this season. His performances has been key to the club rising to the top of Ligue 1 and also reaching the Champions League semifinals.
Monaco are desperate to keep most of their stars beyond this summer, but after having such an outstanding campaign, they know most of their best players would be targeted by top European teams.
