The agent of Manchester United and Real Madrid target Antoine Griezmann, has told French reporters that they would consider offers from the two European giants this summer.
According to him, there are several clubs who have shown interest in his client, but Manchester United are the most serious suitors currently. He also confirmed that Griezmann has an £85 million release clause written into his current deal, according to him, this figure is going to play a key role if the player was to leave Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann scored the 100th goal of his career this weekend, and is said to be very happy in Madrid. His form has attracted the interest of several top European teams, who hope to make him a part of their team next season.
Manchester United want to sign the Frenchman at all cost, as they have planned him to be their next marquee signing after the signing of Paul Pogba last season. Their bid to finish in the top four was boosted by weekend’s result, they won at Burnley while Liverpool lost at home to Crystal Palace to blow the race for the top four open.
Griezmann stormed out of a post-match interview this weekend when he was asked about his future, maintaining that he has said enough about his future.
