According to the German media, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is one of four candidates to take over from Carlo Ancelotti as Bayern Munich manager at the end of the season.
That said, there are new reports that Klopp is plotting a huge £53 million offer for Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins, which kind of contradicts the German press rumours about Klopps future.
Liverpool forgotten man Danny Ings could be set to depart Anfield with the news that new West Brom manager Alan Pardew is interested in signing the 25-year-old in the January transfer window.
No less than three defenders are being linked with a move to Liverpool in January. Al Ahly’s Ahmed Hegazi (currently on loan at West Brom), Sevilla’s Clement Lenglet and Roma’s Emerson Palmieri are the players named as targets for the Reds. It is expected that Liverpool will be making an offer for at least of the three at some point in January.
