It looks unlikely that Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini will be signing a new contract at Old Trafford and is set to leave the club, however, United will not allow the 30-year-old Belgium international to leave in January.
Uniyed boss Jose Mourinho is unhappy with England over their handling of Phil Jones. The defender aggravated an existing thigh problem against Germany last Friday and is set to miss the game on Saturday against Newcastle United.
There is some good news for United with regards to another defender though. Marcos Rojo played 45 minutes for the under-23 team against Athletic Bilbao, his first real action in seven months.
United have had some good news off the pitch as well with the latest financial figures showing an increase in revenue for the three months to October. Income significantly grew by 17.3% to £141m thanks to match day revenue and TV money. United also saw a big jump in operating profits, up £9m to £15.2m now.
