New West Ham boss David Moyes is already planning for a spending spree in the January transfer window and the media are not slow in reporting on players that the former Man Utd boss is interested in signing.
Moyes has set his sights on 25-year-old Brighton defender Lewis Dunk as his first signing, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Hammers are also reportedly interested in signing 26-year-old Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu, though they face competition from the likes of West Brom and Newcastle United.
Some will claim that these are hardly inspiring choices but both players are reaching their peak and do play in two of the strongest leagues in the world, they may not be world class names but they are both more than capable of doing a good job.
But these are just rumours for now and there will no doubt be a load more players linked with West Ham before the 1st January.
