John Hartson believes Arsenal must sign Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer window.
The Argentine striker turned down a move to the Emirates when he opted for a move to Napoli in 2013 but he is back on the Gunners’ radar after the Italian side failed to reach the Champions League.
And Hartson believes his former side need a striker of Higuain’s quality to compete with Chelsea next term.
‘Arsenal must aim high and sign Gonzalo Higuain for next season,’ Hartson wrote on Kicca
‘Arsene must break the bank and spend big if they are to go on and compete for the Premier League title after their excellent FA Cup win.
‘He’s the kind of big name player Arsenal’s main rivals – including Chelsea and Manchester United – will be looking to sign.’
