Liverpool is on the verge of losing another forward this January, though in this instance they are happy to allow the player to depart Anfield.
According to the latest press reports, Daniel Sturridge is set to move to Serie A outfit Inter Milan, either on a loan or permanent deal.
Liverpool is happy to make the deal as long as the Italian giants meet their £30 Million valuation, which is open to question.
Inter would prefer a loan deal at this stage with a view to making the transfer permanent at a later stage, the injury record of the England man is of concern.
Any transfer is also dependent on Gabriel Barbosa leaving the San Siro for Santos, once that deal is completed then Inter will make their move for Sturridge.
Sturridge still retains hopes of making the England world cup squad and is desperate for first team football, something he is simply not getting at Liverpool and would jump at the chance of playing in Italy.
The 28-year-old has not featured for Liverpool since early December but in all fairness, he struggled to get into the team when he was fully fit.
Providing Inter offloads Gabigol then the chances must be high that Sturridge will be leaving Anfield for Italy this month.
