Despite the recent silence over the future of AS Monaco teenage prodigy Kylian Mbappe, more teams are still interested in signing the teenager, and they would make a bid once they get encouragement that he would move. Two of those suitors still in the race are Liverpool and Manchester City.
The Reds still believe when every other team gives up they would be in pole position to sign Mbappe who has refused to give Monaco fans assurances that he would stay.
Manchester City is building a new team of young exciting players and Pep Guardiola has informed the club’s board that he would love to have the French teenager in his team despite the presence of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.
It is believed that if Mbappe signs, Aguero would be moved on, as he continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea.
Monaco is currently not interested in selling Mbappe as they want the teenager to spend at least one more season with them, but they would have to turn down a world record bid to keep the player.
Real Madrid is planning an audacious £120 million bid to test Monaco’s faithfulness in keeping hold of the teenager.
