Tottenham and Liverpool are set to go head to head for a player that both clubs have been linked with for some time now.
The Italian media is claiming that the Premier League pair have reignited their interest in Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Initially it was Tottenham that was the keenest, however, Liverpool has now entered the fray for the player, who if sold, could end up at either club.
Brozovic is a highly talented player and at just 25 years of age has yet to reach his peak but he is seen as surplus to requirements at Inter and could be available for a ridiculously low fee of £12 Million.
Liverpool has a cash mountain since the £142 Million sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and will be looking to spend some of that money this January, however, they will not be rushed and will not spend for the sake of it.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be an admirer of Brozovic but it would be unlikely that he would pursue the Croatian if they sign Bordeaux’s Malcom
