Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel is attracting the interest of Liverpool who are looking to add more attacking force to their squad.
Reports coming from Italy indicates that the Reds are the latest club to indicate an interest in the Colombian. The player is reportedly valued £19 million after he attracted the attention of Atletico Madrid, Seville, Inter Milan, and AS Roma.
Muriel, who is 25, has netted 10 goals and assisted five in 29 League matches this season.
Muriel is adept at playing in various positions in attack, he has played as a striker as well as in the number 10 role this season, so he would fit into Klopp’s high energy attacking system, which favours versatile players like him.
He is not the most potent striker and has only scored 10 goals or more in only two seasons in his senior career. According to Squawka, he has created 44 chances for his team mates in the Serie A this season.
