Liverpool’s hope of signing PSG starlet Mahamadou Dembele, has been dealt a huge blow, after a fresh report from French media claim the player is now ready to commit his future to PSG.

Dembele has been on Liverpool’s radar this season, and reports last week claim that the Reds were close to offering the youngster a professional contract. But PSG seem to have succeeded in convincing the defender that his future lies in Paris.

Liverpool have been banned from signing English youngsters for at least a year, the reds are now trying to sign some of the most exciting prospects in Europe from some of their European rivals.

The 18 year old has starred for PSG in the UEFA Youth League for some seasons now, and he has been tracked by a number of leading European teams who were planning to offer him mouthwatering deals to try to lure him away from Paris.

Dembele is now expected to sign a professional deal with PSG within the coming weeks.

Liverpool will look elsewhere for now, but no doubt they will be hurt to lose Dembele after coming very close to signing him.
