Liverpool boss to bolster strike-force as £25 million will get deal done

Liverpool hope to bolster their strikeforce with the summer acquisition of Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony, but will have to pay £25 million according to the Daily Express website.

The powerful Ivory Coast international has had a solid first season in the Premier League, having joined Swansea from Eredivisie side Vitesse just last summer.

The 25-year-old had a superb goalscoring record in Dutch football, and has shown plenty of promise in his first campaign in the English game.

Liverpool have watched the player before during his time in Holland, and are now ready to renew their interest as they eye new signings upfront in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Reds are mindful of the fact that they lack quality cover and competition for established front-two Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
