Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed the club will NOT be signing any new players in January.
The Reds spent £113million on bolstering their squad in the summer after ending last term as Premier League runners-up, but many of Rodgers’ signings have since struggled to settle in at their new club.
However, Rodgers has now admitted the club will not try and save their season by splashing the cash in January.
As quoted on the Daily Star website, he said: “It [buying new players] is not something I am looking at.
“After the weekend, the focus was not to dwell on that. We have to learn from that and try and get a result here [at Ludogorets].
“I just need to get us back to a level of confidence that allows you to perform. Losing can be the making of you. You learn from it. That is what we are aiming to do.”
