Liverpool are prepared to sell one of their big stars in order to fund the move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the British media
The Sunday Express is claiming that Jurgen Klopp is planning on offloading England International striker Daniel Sturridge in order to raise cash towards the purchase of Aubameyang in January.
Klopp knows Aubameyang from his days at Dortmund and would relish the chance of being reunited with the 28-year-old, who is eager to leave the German giants as soon as possible.
Sturridge has become a bit part player at Anfield and has found himself behind the likes of Roberto Firmino in the pecking order and would more than likely welcome a move, especially in a World Cup year.
Dortmund has made it clear that they will listen to offers for the Gabon international, however, they will not accept less than £50 Million, which is why the Reds are keen to part fund the deal with the sale of Sturridge.
