Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casilas is attracting the interest of some of the world’s top clubs after choosing not to extend his current contract with Porto.
The Spaniard has been in fine form since he moved from Real Madrid to the former European champions, and his performance has been great despite being 36 years old. He had the option of extending his stay in Portugal but has chosen not to activate that option as he looks to challenge himself in a new league.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on bringing the veteran to Anfield next season as he looks to add star-power to his already talented team. However, the Red’s move for him may not materialise after it emerged that PSG has entered the fray for his signature.
The French heavyweights are looking to add more star names to their roster ahead of the new season and Casilas fits the profile of the player they want.
Casilas also has interest from China and the middle east, but will only make a decision after his summer break is over.
