According to reports, the news that Julian Brandt has agreed to sign for Bayern Munich at the end of the season, is false. The player’s father who also doubles as his agent has refuted claims by some sections of the media that his son has been sold to Bayern Munich and they would make it official when the transfer window opens.
Liverpool are believed to be front runners in the race for the youngster’s signature, but were shocked to learn that the player had agreed a move to Bayern next season. However, those reports has been regarded as false, and his father has informed reporters that his son has not made up his mind about where he would ply his trade next season. According to him, his son has never been in a position to decide his future.
Brandt has been a regular starter for Leverkusen since breaking into the first team, he has played 36 games this season, scoring three goals.
The German has previously said that it was not a bad idea going abroad to ply his trade, and would love to join the group of young Germans who have done so.
