Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, has admitted that they have begun talks with big name stars whom they want to add to their team next season. The German admitted that it was now easier to sell Liverpool as a club to top players, which makes their chances of signing them higher.
The Reds have been planning for a busy summer that may see some players such as Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Naby Keita of Leipzig among others join the Merseyside team.
Klopp noted that even though there was no guarantee of them signing all the stars that they bid for, qualifying for the Champions League next season, would certainly improve their chances of landing some of their targets.
Liverpool’s busy summer would see some of their players leave Anfield, as they plan to sell every player that does not feature in their manager’s long term plan. Among those expected to leave are Daniel Sturridge, Lucas Leiva, and Alberto Moreno.
Liverpool hope to consolidate their return to Europe by building a team capable of winning the elusive Premier League title within the next three years.
