Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is close to ending his career with the Reds. Reports coming from Italy indicates that the Reds have already found a replacement for him.
Liverpool have earmarked £200 Million for summer transfer targets, and Sturridge looks to be one of the players that would make way for the newcomers.
The striker has been limited to a few appearances this season as he continues to struggle for form and with injuries. On his day, Sturridge is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, but his constant battle with long term injuries has visibly taken its toll on the former Chelsea striker. He is now behind Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi in the perking order.
Reports from Italy claims Liverpool are ready to sign Czech Republic striker Patrik Schick as the Englishman’s replacement. The Sampdoria striker is not the club’s first choice, but he has managed to score 10 goals and provide 3 assists in just 8 starts, he has also played in Sampdoria’s last two games, scoring in one and assisting in the other.
Liverpool believe that at the age of 21, Schick has the potential to develop as well as make an instant impact in the Premier League.
