Liverpool may struggle to offload some of their players this summer as the Reds continue to demand large transfer fees for players who played little-to-no-parts for them this season.
One such player is Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno. The Spaniard’s Liverpool career looks to be over as the Reds used him sparingly last season, due to his lapse in concentration.
According to Talksport, Liverpool is demanding £15 million for him, and this price has already seen AS Napoli drop their interest in the 24-year-old. The Italians offered £11 million, but Liverpool turned it down, now Roma may also follow suit and look at other options on their transfer list.
Moreno played just a few games last season, as Jurgen Klopp used James Milner as his left back. Despite the fact that the German wants to sign a natural left back to fill that position this season, he still does not consider Moreno matured enough for that challenge.
The Reds are willing to sell, but would not be forced into selling for less than they want for the player.
