Reports emanating from Italy this morning are claiming that Liverpool have agreed to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. The England international has been on loan at Torino in the Italian Serie A, but he is now set for a return to the English top flight.
Torino want to keep Joe Hart but they cannot afford his transfer fee, and City have ruled out a temporary move for the keeper next season, and they want £20 Million for the England International.
Joe Hart was told he would no longer be the club’s number one when Pep Guardiola became the new manager last summer. The Spaniard claimed he wanted a goalkeeper that can help his team play from the back, and Joe Hart was not skilled for that kind of job.
Guardiola went on to sign Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, but the South American has struggled to impress, neither has his second choice Willy Caballero, done a better job.
But Guardiola still does not want Joe Hart back. This has led Liverpool to swoop for the Englishman.
Jurgen Klopp fears Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius may not be good enough for his team when they return to Europe next season, and wants Hart to come and support them.
Liverpool are ready to pay the £20 Million fee that the Citizens want.
