Reports coming from Spain indicates that Real Madrid’s Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, is going to make a decision on his future this month.
The Colombian has been a fringe player for Real Madrid since Zinedine Zidane took over the reins of the club. Zidane prefers other midfielders and the Galaticos are not short of options in that position. This has made Rodriguez, who was the stand out player of the 2014 FIFA World cup, enjoy fewer minutes of action for the club.
Rodriguez has played only 15 games for the club, lesser than even Isco, but Zidane has said he is free to leave the club this summer.
United are said to be front runners in the race to sign the player, but he is keeping his option open as he would looks for a team that can offer a significantly higher wage than what he currently earns in Madrid.
Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea are all interested in the player and are just as eager to learn of the players decision.
